Overview
Objective
The Fund is classified as a financial product under Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. The Fund promotes environmental or social characteristics but does not have a sustainable investment objective. The Fund integrates ESG factors and risk in the investment process alongside traditional factors. Detailed information on the sustainability related disclosures of the Fund can be found in the Template Pre-contractual disclosure (annex of the prospectus) on https://www.gsam.com/responsible-investing/en-INT/non-professional/funds/documents. The fund mainly invests in a diversified portfolio of global inflation-linked bonds of high quality (with a rating of AAA to BBB-), but may also invest regular bonds with a fixed coupon. All cashflows (coupon- and principal payments) of an inflation-linked bonds will be adjusted to the inflation rate and offer therefore protection against inflation changes. The fund uses active management to anticipate changes of the level of government bond yields, the inflation rate, FX rates and country spreads within the investment universe based on fundamental and quantitative analysis. The fund positioning can therefore materially deviate from the benchmark. Measured over a period of several years we aim to beat the performance of the Bloomberg World Govt Inflation-Linked All Maturities EUR (hedged). The benchmark is a broad representation of the global inflation-linked bond universe. For risk management purposes, bond and country deviation limits are maintained relative to the benchmark. The aforementioned benchmark is at the sub-fund level and there is no actual benchmark for this specific hedged share class as we apply a currency hedging strategy. By hedging currencies we aim to avoid currency risks for Swedish krona (SEK) investors. We hedge all currency risks in the benchmark of the sub-fund to the reference currency of this share class (SEK). The risks of exchange rate fluctuations against the SEK, related to over- and underweight positions in the portfolio versus the benchmark of the sub-fund, remain in this share class. A currency hedge consists of taking an offsetting position in another currency. You can sell your participation in this fund on each (working) day on which the value of the units is calculated, which for this fund occurs daily. The fund does not aim to provide you with a dividend. It will reinvest all earnings.
