Overview

Objective

Goldman Sachs Dutch Residential Mortgage Fund NHG (NL) is a fund that offers participants the option to invest in a managed portfolio of NHG-backed mortgages provided in the Netherlands by Venn Hypotheken B.V. after 1 January 2020. The Fund invests primarily in NHG-backed loans, resulting in an attractive risk/reward profile. Mortgages are acquired via a slice of the NHG product selection of Venn Hypotheken, provided the mortgages comply with the strict criteria prescribed by the Fund (the Mortgage Loan Criteria). The investment policy of the Fund targets achievement of the highest possible total return over the long term, based on a strategy of diversification and working within the parameters of the stated objective and risk profile. The Fund does not have a benchmark and can pay a dividend. This Fund is suitable for investors who are in a position to assess the risks associated with the Fund. Goldman Sachs Dutch Residential Mortgage Fund NHG (NL) invests in illiquid assets. This brings the risk that the Fund may not immediately be in a position to release adequate financial resources to fulfil redemption requests by participants. The fund manager will strive to be invested completely in mortgages. Assets may be drawn on and loans entered into, but not for the purchase of participating interests. Furthermore, investors in the Fund will be exposed to interest rate risks given that the value of a mortgage may change as a result of interest rate changes. If interest rates rise, the value of a mortgage will in principle fall. Mortgages can be redeemed early. If a mortgage is redeemed early, the funds received will in principle be reinvested subject to the market conditions prevailing at that time. Given that the Fund invests solely in Dutch mortgages, the Fund is susceptible to developments in the Dutch economy, and in the mortgage market in particular. Non-economic factors such as the political climate, tax rules and culture also play a role here. Details of further risks and information about entering and withdrawing from the Fund can be found in the Fund prospectus.
