FIXED INCOME

Overview

Objective

The actively managed fund invests in a broadly diversified portfolio of floating rate senior loans (generally secured by a first priority lien on the assets of the borrower, which must be repaid before all other subordinated loans) and other floating rate debt instruments issued by U.S. and non-U.S. corporations and other business entities. The senior instruments in which the fund invests are typically rated below investment grade credit quality (below BBB-/Baa3) or, if not rated, will be of equivalent credit quality. The fund specifically targets relatively liquid senior loans which typically demonstrate lower volatility (movement of price) and provide superior execution in times of significantly reduced market liquidity. The performance of this Sub-Fund is not measured against any benchmark. However to provide market context and for performance comparison purposes only, the fund uses a reference index, Morningstar LSTA US Leveraged Loan Index. You can sell your participation in this fund on the 1st and 16th day of the month (or the next working day on which the value of the shares of the fund is calculated) with the applicable limits. The fund is in particular suitable for investors with a medium to longterm investment horizon. Recommendation: this fund may not be appropriate for investors who plan to withdraw their money within five years. For this specific hedged share class we apply a currency hedging strategy. The fund’s base currency is euro (EUR) and non-EUR exposures are hedged back to the euro. By hedging this share class we aim to exchange the base currency of the fund (EUR) with the base currency of this share class United States Dollar (USD). A currency hedge consists of taking an offsetting position in another currency. The fund does not aim to provide you with a dividend. It will reinvest all earnings.
