Pensions Age LDI Manager of the Year Award 2026

We are excited to have been named LDI Manager of the Year at the 2026 Pensions Age Awards.

The Pensions Age Awards recognise pension schemes and pension providers across the UK, and winners are selected by an independent judging panel based on four criteria: Excellence, Innovation, Performance, Overall dedication to adding value in the UK pensions space. 

This achievement recognizes our team’s dedication and expertise in delivering tailored LDI solutions to our clients and for pension schemes of different sizes.

“We have continued to deliver hedge effectiveness, while adding value through our innovative active LDI overlay for our clients. Winning this award recognizes our team's dedication and expertise, and we remain committed to providing insightful thought leadership to further support our clients' strategic decisions," said Simon Bentley, Head of UK LDI and CDI.

Winners of the Pensions Age Awards are selected by an independent judging panel of industry experts. The judging panel reviews nominations, of which there were five including GSAM for the LDI Manager of the Year category. This is based on four criteria: Excellence; Innovation; Performance; Overall dedication to adding value in the UK pensions space. Particular attention is paid to activity in the last 12 months, from January 2025 to December 2025 to ensure the awards reflect the most recent period that the firm/pension fund has been in operation. Pensions Age created and tabulated the rating. The award was given on 3 March 2026. The judges are not allowed to judge categories which present a conflict of interest. No compensation paid.
