23 January 2024 | 2 minute read
On 14th December, 2023, Goldman Sachs Asset Management together with Greycoat announced the closing of the acquisition of 20 Finsbury Dials, a 6-storey, ca. 140,000 square feet office building in the City of London, north of Moorgate underground station.

20 Finsbury Dials sits on a 0.75-acre site and has floorplates of around 19,000 square feet. It comprises lower ground, ground and six upper floors, with ceiling heights between 9 and 10 feet.

Following the acquisition, a comprehensive ‘brown to green’ refurbishment will be undertaken, looking to deliver a high-quality, sustainable office space in a prime location. With ESG at the forefront of the building design and development, 20 Finsbury Dials is aiming to limit upfront and whole-life embodied carbon emissions, as well as aiming to achieve CRREM alignment, BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A and WELL Platinum.

Chris Semones, a Managing Director in the Real Estate Business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, said: “We are thrilled to partner once again with Greycoat on 20 Finsbury Dials. The investment fits into the ongoing trend of transitioning offices from ‘brown to green’ and aligns with our belief that high-quality and sustainable office buildings in London will continue to enjoy strong demand. We believe the project will prove attractive to ESG focused occupiers and investors alike.
