Introduction from Our Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management

Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) supports a broad range of global institutions and individuals in preserving and growing their financial assets to achieve their financial goals. Consistent with our fiduciary duty, we consider sustainability-related factors where they are financially material to investment decisions, across a range of investment products and advisory solutions tailored to each client's distinct objectives and preferences.

We are operating in an evolving global landscape shaped by geopolitical volatility and rapid technological change, one in which energy security, affordability, and shifting supply and demand dynamics are of increasing importance. Against this backdrop, our approach remains consistent: We continue to weigh financially material climate-related risks and opportunities in pursuit of our clients’ investment objectives as part of our broader, performance-driven investment analysis.

As outlined in this 2025 AWM UK Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) report, our climate strategy is designed around three key pillars: empowering decisions through actionable climate intelligence; unlocking potential value through the management of climate-related risks and opportunities; and mobilising the full range of AWM’s resources to meet clients’ needs.

The energy transition is likely to follow a nonlinear path, requiring flexible investment and risk management approaches to adapt to client needs and broader geopolitical and macroeconomic conditions. Looking ahead, we remain focused on supporting our clients and portfolio companies, and we will continue to evaluate and, where appropriate, refine our capabilities, with the aim of delivering risk-adjusted returns for our clients. We are pleased to share our 2025 TCFD report covering AWM’s business activities delivered through two of our material United Kingdom legal entities.
