Chart of the Week: Well-Earned Weight

Mega-cap tech companies continue to deliver robust earnings growth, defying ongoing investor concerns about valuations and concentration. The gap between the market cap and earnings share of the top 10 largest companies has nearly closed as earnings have accelerated, with the Mag 7 reporting 112% YoY EPS growth this quarter. Although elevated valuations and concentration pose risks, we believe that they can be justified by genuine earnings strength, underpinning our bullish view on US equities.
